Role Overview:

The RSO Level III will ensure radiation safety across all nuclear medicine and diagnostic departments, manage radioactive materials, and act as the compliance lead for AERB regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all radiation safety measures in the nuclear medicine department
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain statutory documentation as per AERB
Monitor and control radioactive waste disposal and storage
Conduct radiation surveys and exposure monitoring of staff and equipment
Handle audits, inspections, and incident reporting as per protocols
Train staff on radiation protection, emergency handling, and safety awareness
Liaise with authorities for license renewals and safety upgrades

Preferred Candidate Profile:

AERB-approved RSO Level III with strong regulatory knowledge
Experience in PET-CT and radiopharmaceutical operations
Meticulous in documentation, audits, and compliance reporting
Able to work closely with nuclear medicine technologists and hospital leadership
